Festival day takes place in Evangeline Oak Park on Saturday, March 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Celebrate Acadian culture in a lively way with music, food, fun, French theater, kids’ activities, lectures and demonstrations. March 12, Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Site, St. Martinville � March Market and Craft Fair, 9 a.m. � 4 p.m. A special Craft Fair and Market will be held on the grounds of Longfellow Evangeline SHS. Craft demonstrators, artist, and vendors of handmade items or produce will be showing and selling their goods. Items for sale include paintings, photographs, wood carvings, Native American crafts, preserves, candies, quilts, bonnets, baby clothing, jewelry, rosaries, soap, candles, preserves, cypress furniture, wooden boat models, pottery, garden items such as plants, benches, pots, and bird feeders.
