Lincoln's Letters

Darrell Bourque, appointed Poet Laureate of the State of Louisiana, will give a lecture called "Lincoln's Letters:  5 Approaches to Lincoln's Life & Legacy."  The lecture will be on February 12th, Lincoln's 201st birthday.  The 5 topics of discussion are:  Lincoln & poetry, Lincoln & public art, Lincoln in film, Lincoln in biography and Lincoln in Louisiana.  Afterward, local artist Sidney Creaghan will recite some poetry.  Refreshments will be provided.   Lagniappe Antiques Etc., 124 West Bridge St, Breaux Bridge.  Call 337-507-2036 or visit www.breauxbridgeantiques.com for more info.
